James A. Roy
The President of Roy, Larsen, Carnes & Romm, PC, Mr. Roy was born
in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1942. Mr. Roy has practiced law in
Chesapeake since 1969 and represented numerous clients including the
Chesapeake Public Schools, Cenit Bank, the Highway Department of the
Commonwealth of Virginia in condemnation matters, Chesapeake Bank
& Trust (currently Wachovia), Pioneer Title Insurance Company,
and numerous local corporations.
Mr. Roy currently serves as a Commissioner of Accounts for the
City of Chesapeake and is the Secretary of the conference of Commissioners
of Accounts, serving on it’s Executive Board.
Mr. Roy resides in Chesapeake, is married and has two children and
three grandchildren.
